We process personal data only as far as a function requires it, and only for the purpose your school handed it to us for: running the service. Nothing beyond that — no analysis for our own ends, no passing it on for advertising.

Our principles
Hosting of this website
This website is hosted in Frankfurt am Main, on servers inside the EU.
Hosting of the application
Before Selyvi is used with real pupil data, the product servers move to Germany and every school has a data processing agreement in place — both are in preparation.
Encryption
Transmission is encrypted throughout (TLS).
Strict data separation
Every teacher sees only their own observations and assessments. There is no role with an overall view of several teachers' data.
Sharing of data
Pupil data is not sold and is not processed for advertising purposes.
No parent or pupil access
Selyvi is a tool for teachers and school leadership. There are deliberately no accounts for parents or children.
AI processing
Selyvi uses AI models to generate texts and teaching materials from a teacher's observations. We publish the precise processing details of our AI components at this point.
Accessibility as practice
Keyboard operation, screen reader structure, contrasts to WCAG 2.1 AA and respected motion reduction are build standards here, not retrofits.
Deletion policy
We publish retention and deletion periods at this point.
What school leadership sees – and what it does not
Every teacher sees only their own observations and assessments.
The leadership view shows figures, not entries. Single observations and assessments are not hidden there. They are not there at all.
